It is silent for a while.

Kit:
Unemployed, huh?
You:
That's new.
Kit:
What?
You:
The unemployment.
Kit:
Right.
Kit:
For a second there, I thought maybe
you were pretending to forget what you'd done.
You:
I didn't--
Kit:
Didn't what?-
Kit:
Didn't what?-
Dissappear?
Kit:
Didn't what?-
Dissappear?
Commit arson?
You:
No--
Kit:
I don't want to hear it.
Kit:
I don't even know why I got into this boat with you in the first place.
You:
Kit!
